Located in Columbia, SC., LuLu's Natural Delights produces natural jellies, jams, preserves and herbs. Each jar is prepared by my hands, and is produced & manufactured in my own home with love. The experience of producing these natural Jellies, Jams, Preserves & Natural Herbs is very exciting for me because this is how I preserve the past: with the present.
Going back to the 70s, Triena Washington, owner and operator, has always had a love for cooking. She was inspired by watching her Aunt Annie and Uncle Frank growing everything by hand when she was younger. After getting married and military traveling, Triena took up gardening as her main hobby and focus whenever she received an opportunity to settle.
While living in Florida, Triena developed a love for growing fruit trees in her backyard, including oranges, apples, lemons, pears, peaches and grapes. She grew plants and trees in pots and was always sharing fruits with family and friends. Her backyard fruit farm produced so much fruit within its small space, and to save as much fruit as possible, she prepared the fruit through canning to gift in different forms through the production of jams and jellies. It was a delight to have a natural process without preserves that she could share as gifts of love, by her own hands, to family and friends.
The demand for the jams and jellies became overwhelming. So, in 2019, Triena decided to turn her jams and jellies into a full-time business. “Lulu’s Natural Delights” was then created so everyone could enjoy such a delightful, natural experience.
All fruits are picked with quality and freshness in mind.
